It was wonderful, from the driver who has been a charm the whole trip, very helpful, friendly and the best driver in India (it is very difficult to drive in India with traffic, it’s terrible); All the Spanish speaking guides thank you very much to everyone not just for being guides but also For giving us a current view of India, The people and customs. All the hotels have been very correct and with a special charm. And of course, how kind and attentive you have been to all of us and your wife Manjari. We have come back yesterday from our travels in Tamil Nadu and I have to say everything was perfect. We particularly appreciated the services of our driver Mani who was excellent, always very corteous to us and a very good driver, we felt very safe with him, all the time! Also he was very patient with us and stopped any time we requested it for coffee breaks or shopping. We certainly recommend him!! The itinerary was excellent as well as our guides were outstanding . Initially, we found our communications with you regarding organizing the itinerary very helpful and your instructions on how to manage visa, weather, money, health, etc. concerns very helpful too. Once we arrived, we appreciated that our driver was prompt, informative, easy to get along with and a great driver! Needless to say, the essential aspects of moving our travel along, for example, the tour guides, timing, etc. we’re handled beautifully. I find it hard to put into words how wonderful our trip to India was. It’s hard to fault it in any way. Each person that we came into contact with was professional and nothing was too hard. Our India experience was AMAZING!!! They don’t call it Incredible India for no reason, the country is a vest array of exciting, beautiful and unique experiences, sights, tastes and sounds. We were fortunate to be there for National Day which we spent as a celebration in Kakinada. The tour, guides (who were all knowledgeable, friendly and helpful), transportation, hotels and logistics you arranged were perfect. Thank you very much for your assistance and advice. My tour of southern India was enjoyable. Puducherry was my highlight with its French history, culture and tastes. Maybe one too many temple visited lol as they started to merge together.

Tonight is our last night in India. We are in Goa after our Kerala tour. We had a great time in Kerala and we were very pleased with you, the Kerala agency and the driver. My family had an amazing time in Rajasthan and Nikhil’s company was first rate and very reasonable. I do highly recommend them. Our driver was amazing and the vehicle was fine and well kept. Having a driver gave us great freedom to do what we wanted to do when we wanted to do it. We had the flexibility of selecting many of the hotels ourselves and you just need to do your own independent research to make sure it is the type of accommodation you want at a price you want. We were met at every City by a TGS representative, so you always had someone to turn to for help. All of the local guides were pleasant and helpful. Again, doing some research on the places and things available would be advisable as the guides do tend to show the standard sites. However, they were always accommodating when we said we do not want to see this palace, but want to find a good antiques store instead, or we want to go camel riding.

Nikhil was wonderful to deal with and even took us out to dinner – so the service is very personal. When we go back to India, Nikhil would be the first person I would contact to book the tour.

All went very, very well … we had an excellent driver, the car is very good and comfortable and I felt very safe all the time. I was lucky and I could visit Taj Mahal in a fresh weather (after the heavy rain that hit Agra some hours before we arrived ) . the guide was also very good. We spent two very interesting weeks in India where we have got a deep impression of your country. Thank you very much for your assistance by preparing and organizing this trip for us. The hotels, which you picked out for us were good or very good, some of them were excellent. In Mumbai and Mamallapuram the beach was not far from our hotel and we could spend there some time.A little problem for us was the dinner in two hotels with only vegetarian food (in Khajuraho and Mamallapuram) but as we spent in both hotels only one night it doesn’t matter. It was only unexpected for us because we used to eat meat, chicken or fish every day. Our guides at the several places were very different and it was very interesting for us to talk to them. In Bhopal we were surprised to have got a woman-guide and it was so exciting for us to talk with her about life in India. All guides who were sent us from the local tourist offices were very good and we could understand them at English too. If there is any chance we will recommend your travel agency.

Firstly I just want to say thank you so much for all your help with organising our trip. We haven’t stopped raving about you since we got home! Everything went smoothly, and we were really able to make the most of our time in your country. My apologies for not getting back to you sooner, but have only just returned to work (and my emails). Darjeeling was probably the highlight of the trip for me, and the hotel we stayed in was perfect. Great location, friendly, helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere. A little bit faded, but that only added to the charm of the place. The transfers up and back were great too, and it was particularly good to have such experienced drivers on that road! The hotel in Mumbai was good too, again with very helpful staff and in a lovely area. The house boat in Kerala was a great experience, and a perfect antidote to the craziness of Mumbai. Such a beautiful area, and we loved cruising the backwaters. I have to say also that the food on board was fantastic; the chef did a great job. Next stop was the resort in Kumarakom which was ok, but in retrospect I think I would have liked to spend that time in Cochin. The place we stayed in there was wonderful; perfect location, lovely staff and great food too. The driver we had during our time in Kerala was excellent, and took us on a bit of a tour when we arrived in Cochin which was great.Finally Pondicherry, which was by far the best accommodation of all. A really fabulous place to stay. Beautiful rooms, lovely restaurant, perfect location and again really friendly, helpful staff. Didn’t want to leave!

Hi! TGS Tours is amazing! I just returned from India as we had a wedding to attend and minimal time to travel Jaipur and Agra. Nikhil Pandit, the owner, was so gracious, accommodating and 100 percent available everyday to set up our sightseeing. Not only did he provide answers to every email for 6 weeks prior to our trip, he organized a trip that would have taken one week for most, for us to do in 3 days. The tour guide in Jaipur was amazing, efficient, knowledgeable and educated as an historian, patient, kind and most of all, he protected 4 woman travelers from any nonsense. He stayed with us for 12 hours and became a good friend. Our driver for the three days was punctual and kind and so absolutely nice and protective of us as well. I emailed so much with Nikhil prior to our visit, he invited us to his club in Jaipur and treated all of us to a wonderful evening and even allowed for me to use his club the next morning. I have to say, Nikhil has become a good friend, so much so, he attended the wedding we had initially come to India for, in New Delhi. TGS tours are the only way to go and I feel as if they have all become family. They are dedicated and care so much about the safety, well being and happiness of all of their clients and I tell you, I fell in love with India that much more due to Nikhil and TGS Tours. When Rick and I decided to get married in India, we were overwhelmed with the interest that our friends and family showed in attending. They were all so enthused to travel the distance for the adventure. As the year unfolded and plans were being made, I quickly realized that not only was I facing the challenge of planning a wedding from so far away, but it seemed that I was going to have to play the role of travel agent as well. Almost every one of the 100 people that travelled to India for our wedding were traveling there for the first time, and—understandably—had many questions. Where to go? Where to stay? What to see? How to get from one place to another? Everyone was incurring a hefty cost to come and knowing this made it all the more important that I do every thing possible to ensure that it would be the experience of a lifetime.

I can say with absolute conviction that the trip would have been much more cumbersome and frustrating for many of our guests, had Nikhil and his staff not been there every step of the way. There were many different groups of people traveling and he was able to accommodate them on EVERY level, EVERY budget, and EVERY itinerary. Some were traveling out of the US for the first time and were not prepared for the way things work in India. People were flying in from all over, had many different agendas and interests and question after question after question.

Nikhil and his staff coordinated with our guests and arranged both their pre and post wedding plans with the utmost patience, grace and hospitality. This included hotels in every budget, meeting guests at their points of arrival, providing transit from the airport, planning a wonderful New Years celebration for 35 people in Udaipur, and their personal mobile numbers for the entire duration, should anything go wrong. They were also able to get everyone excellent rates during the high season in Rajasthan, breaking all of the costs down and carefully reviewing every detail.

It should be emphasized that this was not a whole group of 100 people traveling together, but many small groups of people wanting to do many different things and having very different itineraries. What makes TGS such a great company is the patience and skill that they exhibited in seamlessly orchestrating so many different requests. As everyone was traveling from abroad, everyone relied on the Internet and email to make their travel plans, and Nikhil was extremely efficient and prompt in his email correspondence.

My husband Peter and I are delighted to have the opportunity to recommend the services of Nikhil Pandit and TGS Tours.
We’ve been on three long trips throughout India, each time with the support of Nikhil Pandit and TGS Tours. We travelled in the years 2011 (43 days), 2015 (56 days) and 2016 (40 days). Mr Pandit himself accompanied us on a section of our last tour through NE India in 2016, which was very enjoyable.
We have found TGS Tours, its employees and agents to be of the highest standard throughout our trips.
Guides and drivers allocated to us by TGS have always been reliable, skilled and professional. The TGS cars (usually Toyota Innova) are comfortable, late model and well maintained.
Nikhil Pandit has always been very efficient and helpful during our trip planning process and will work with you to tailor your travel program. In areas where TGS does not directly operate, he will arrange reputable and reliable drivers (and guides where required) through other agencies.
Nikhil also keeps in contact regularly on our trips to make sure we are happy with all arrangements. He has also swiftly and satisfactorily sorted out any issues along the road.
He’s arranged numerous internal flights, train journeys, national park visits, accommodation the length and breadth of India and long road trips, always efficiently and with a personal touch.
We have found each of our trips through TGS to be value for money. In our experience it’s a more cost effective and efficient way to see and experience the ‘real’ India, rather than going through a travel agent here in Australia.
In summary, we highly recommend TGS Tours as your travel agency in India. We are planning to again travel in India in 2019 and once again with the guidance of Nikhil and TGS.
